MINT Status Levels & $MNTD Staking: How It Works

MINT Status is the loyalty and staking system that replaces the pre-token XP campaign. Everything below comes from the official $MNTD whitepaper (the version published at getminted.io is the current one). For the token basics and the closed Season 1 airdrop, see our $MNTD token guide; for the platform itself, see the Mint.io review.

The structure in one minute

USD benchmarks, token amounts

Benchmarks are denominated in USD but met by staking $MNTD. When you stake, the system converts your tokens into a USD credit at the reference price shown before you confirm. That credit is recorded and is not revalued later: a price drop does not reduce it, and a price rise does not promote you. To move up, you add more stake. The number of tokens needed is therefore dynamic.

Staking rewards

Rakeback, lossback and daily rewards

Per the whitepaper, qualifying play generates rakeback in $MNTD from the first named level, weekly lossback is paid in a supported stablecoin to eligible levels, and daily rewards accrue at your level’s rate. For $MNTD rakeback, accounts already staking see it added to their Status stake automatically. The exact rates live in the Status Schedule inside the platform and may change, so we do not quote numbers here. Background: rakeback vs lossback explained.

Flexible staking vs voluntary locks

A second programme for holders outside Mint

The whitepaper also describes a separate, Web3-native locked staking programme (fixed locks, staking rewards only, no Status, rakeback or lossback), to be announced close to the token launch. Treat it as planned until terms are published.

Risks to weigh

We make no price predictions and this is not financial advice. Mint.io is not available in many countries; read the Mint.io withdrawal guide and the platform’s terms first. 18+ only; play within your limits and see our responsible gambling page.

Frequently asked questions

How many MINT Status levels are there?

The whitepaper describes Status Zero (no stake) plus seven named levels: Noob, Ape, Wolf, Bull, Shadow, Alpha and Minted.

Does a higher Status level guarantee higher rewards?

No. The whitepaper says a higher level guarantees neither a particular token amount nor a fiat-value reward. Rates and benchmarks can change prospectively.

Can I unstake $MNTD at any time?

Status staking is flexible by default, so you can ordinarily unstake, but doing so can lower or remove your level. If you voluntarily activate a lock boost, the tokens cannot be withdrawn until the lock ends.
