Start with money you can afford to lose after essential expenses and savings. Divide it into separate session limits; unspent money does not have to be gambled. Unit size, stop-loss and win goal are all percentages of the initial per-session budget.

Pure budget arithmetic. Example inputs are not spending recommendations. Stop-loss and win-goal settings cannot guarantee a final balance.

How it is calculated

  • Session budget S = total bankroll / number of sessions. Fixed unit U = S × unit % / 100. Use one currency throughout.
  • Maximum funded bets = floor(100 / unit %) when the budget is positive; zero bankroll gives zero bets. This counts full units covered if every bet loses, ignoring fees and minimum stakes. It is not a duration or turnover forecast.
  • Stop-loss amount = S × stop-loss % / 100. Win-goal amount = S × win-goal % / 100, expressed as net profit above the starting session balance.
  • These are planned stopping amounts, not automatic enforcement. Stop before placing a bet that could exceed your remaining loss limit. Never increase a limit to recover losses or borrow from another session.

Frequently asked questions

Does a budget make gambling profitable?

No. Budgeting limits planned exposure; it does not change the house edge or make a winning strategy. You may lose the entire amount you set aside.

What does a zero bankroll mean?

All money outputs and the funded bet count are zero. Do not borrow or use money needed for living expenses to create a gambling budget.

Must I keep playing until the win goal?

No. It is only a possible stopping point, not an achievable promise. You can stop immediately, and a loss limit takes priority.
