18+ only. Contains affiliate links — we may earn a commission. Not for residents of the US, UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Austria, Australia, Ontario or Vietnam. Not legal or financial advice.
Enter the rates shown in your own rewards dashboard. This tool does the arithmetic and shows how little a reward programme changes the cost of play.
⚠ Example inputs: replace with your own figures
Result
| Expected cost of the house edge | $30.00 |
|---|---|
| Estimated rakeback | $3.00 |
| Expected cost after rakeback | $27.00 |
| Rakeback as % of amount wagered | 0.3% |
| Lossback if you finish the period down by that amount | $5.00 |
Lossback only applies if you actually end the period with a net loss, so it is shown separately and not subtracted from the expected cost.
18+ only. Estimates only, not financial advice. Results are based on the numbers you enter; example inputs are placeholders, not real rates. Rewards never guarantee a profit and gambling involves risk of loss.
Pre-filled numbers are example inputs only, not Mint rates. Mint does not publish a fixed rate table in its help article; the live rates appear in the in-platform Rewards Dashboard and Status Schedule and can change.
How it is calculated
- Expected house-edge cost = amount wagered × house edge.
- Rakeback on the edge = expected cost × rakeback rate; rakeback on wagers = amount wagered × rakeback rate. Which basis applies is shown in your rewards dashboard.
- Lossback = net loss × lossback rate, only when you ended the period down.

Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate rakeback?
It depends on the basis. If rakeback is a share of the house edge, multiply the amount wagered by the game's house edge, then by your rakeback rate. If it is a share of wagers, multiply the amount wagered by the rate. Your rewards dashboard shows which applies.
Does rakeback make gambling profitable?
No. At best it reduces the expected cost of playing. The house edge still applies, and the $MNTD whitepaper itself says rewards neither remove the mathematical disadvantage nor guarantee a positive result.
What rakeback rate does Mint.io pay?
Mint's help centre does not publish a fixed table. Under the $MNTD whitepaper the rate depends on your MINT Status level and sits in a live Status Schedule that can change, so enter the rate you see in your own dashboard.
